USAP-USAPAN ngayon ang naging pahayag ni Nadine Lustre sa “Wake Up With Jim and Saab” podcast ng mag-asawang sina Saab Magalona at Jim Bacarro.
Isa kasi sa napag-usapan nila ay tungkol sa pakikipag-relasyon.
Ayon kasi kay Saab, marami sa mga listeners nila ang palaging humihingi sa kanila ng mga relationship advice kaya naman natanong nila si Nadine kung may maibabahagi ba itong advice para sa kanilang taga pakinig.
“I’m so sorry to have to dig this up… we’re not gonna get specifics but is there anything you can share about closure… how does it feel and when do you know when you’re okay na?” tanong ni Saab.
“You know what, it took a while before I got over it. I was pretty much in a limbo for like more than a year. I guess one advice is that just to take your time. I mean it’s not wounds that heal easily. You need to take time. It will take time but I mean it’s super worth it in the end,” pagbabahagi ni Nadine.
Bagamat walang pangalan ay mukhang ang relasyon niya sa dating ka-love team na si James Reid ang tinutukoy niya base sa timeline na sinabi nito.
Naikuwento rin nito ang kaibigan na agad naghanap ng iba kahit kakagalig lang nito sa isang relasyon.
“A lot of friends kasi that I know who have just got through a break upc, they rush things.
“I have this one friend who just got out of a relationship [and] she’s already like looking for someone else.
“I told her ‘Hey, you just got out of a relationship, I think you need to take a break and enjoy your own company. Like do things on your own’.
“I was telling her… ‘give it to yourself muna for a while and learn how to do things on your own. I feel like because you’ve grown with another person parang you guys have been growing together. I think its high time that you grow on your own… We need that,” payo ni Nadine sa kaibigan.
Aniya, marami kasi ngayon na iniisip na kailangang mag-grow kayo ng magkasama ng karelasyon mo at hindi iniisip na kinakailangan ring mag-grow individually.
Kuwento pa ni Nadine, noong panahon matapos ang kaniyang break up ay ginawa niya ang mga bagay na hindi niya nagagawa noon tulad ng pagsusulat ng kanta kaya naman nakapag-release siya ng album.

“After my break up it was the pandemic na. A couple of months after the break up it was the pandemic na.
“I was just reflecting on all the things that I’ve done, the person I’ve become. It was like I was having conversation with myself and I just trying to know myself again as an individual.
“It was really different when your with the person. It was like meeting Nadine again for the first time.”
Muli ay iginiit niya na maghinay-hinay at huwag madaliin ang mga bagay at ang pagmo-move on.
“It was really weird because there were times na parang I wish this would still work out. You’re still there, e. You’re still not over the relationship but I was aware that it was going away,” pagpapatuloy ni Nadine.
“At first it was hard for me, because I was like, ‘this couldn’t happen. This can’t get away because I still want to be with this person’ but one day I just woke up and I told my friend, ‘you know what, it’s not there anymore’ and sometimes it happens.
“It took a while because I has to realize that I needed to put myself first. When I decided to put myself first, it just got out of the window.”
