Bandera now more engaging, pro-active — Inquirer COO

- September 10, 2013 - 07:47 PM

Allow me to congratulate Bandera on its 23rd anniversary today.

It was a wonderful journey taken by this publication that started as a gaming paper known for its adult columns but has since evolved into one of the most successful general interest tabloids in the country.

If you skim through the pages of Bandera you will notice tidbits of information that has attracted more readers across all age groups.

From a newspaper known for its lotto tips and gaming features, we now have a tighter front page lay-out and a list of special interest topics from juicy entertainment stories to in-depth sports reportage, current events, health and wellness, food, agriculture and business including provocative, educational and advice columns that has attracted more diverse audiences across all platforms.

Furthermore, the transformation of Bandera from a single product to a multi-media service tabloid has been the driving force to attract and engage more readers through the Inquirer Group’s online, mobile, print and radio platform initiatives. We now have a more engaging, more proactive and a more reader-centric Bandera for you to enjoy.

I am even more excited for Bandera as it continues to sustain its market leadership in Visayas and Mindanao and is slowly climbing to the top 5 most widely read tabloid Nationwide.

It didn’t come at a better time as Bandera continues to enable more readers, improve the lives and welfare of more Filipinos and  keep them informed through honest to goodness reporting.

I am thankful to all our readers, dealers and advertisers for all their support and patronage of Bandera. Binabati kong muli and mga taong bumubuo ng pamilya Bandera.

Naway patuloy ninyong gampanan ang inyong tunay na tungkulin na iangat ang antas ng pamumuhay ng sambayanan ngayon at sa mga araw pang darating.
