Pia Magalona may hiling kay Francis M; malalim ang hugot sa ‘dark side’

MAY hiling ang talent manager at nanay nina Maxene at Elmo na si Pia Magalona sa yumao niyang asawa na si Francis Magalona.
Emosyonal at malalim ang hugot ng kanyang mensahe para sa kaarawan ng tinaguriang Master Rapper at dating “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads nitong nagdaang Oct. 4.
Sa kanyang Instagram account, nag-post si Pia ng throwback photo ng asawa at inaming miss na miss na niya ang matagal nang pumanaw na asawa.
Aniya sa caption, “How we wish we could all be together and celebrate your birthday as October is a very special time for our family, with the many folks born this month. Again, happy birthday, FrancisM.
“Pls work your magic from up above and protect us, especially your dear children and grandchildren, from the dark side,” ang hiling ni Pia kay Kiko (palayaw ng OPM legend).
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Pia, “We love you and all the cherished memories we shared, deep in our hearts. We need more JOY to sustain us; God’s PEACE to comfort us; and HOPE to remind us of brighter days ahead.
“His joy will be our STRENGTH; His peace surpasses all UNDERSTANDING; and in Him ALONE do we have our hope for the FUTURE,” dugtong pang mensahe ng talent manager.
Ayon pa kay Pia, nagpapasalamat siya na kahit lumipas na ang mahabang panahon ay nananatili pa ring buhay sa isip at puso ng mga Filipino ang mga kanta ni Francis M.
“I dedicate my comeback to IG in commemoration of the day you were born, back in 1964. Times have truly changed (for the worse) and especially for our country that’s been hit hard not just by the pandemic but by the current situation we are in because–believe it or not–they’re back!
“Yeah… the ones you wrote those songs for: about injustice, inequality and the abuse we grew up with. Where is the love, we asked, for the Filipino people BY the Filipino people??
“Mom is there now, too, with you and both your parents. Keep watch over us–and keep us safe always. I love you,” ang bahagi pa ng caption ni Pia sa kanyang IG post.
Sumakabilang-buhay si Francis dahil sa sakit na leukemia o cancer of the blood noong March 6, 2009.
