Usec Cualoping hindi kumasa sa ‘lalake sa lalakeng hamon’ ni Neil: It does not solve anything

MULING nag-post si Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Undersecretary Mon Cualoping ukol sa “brain cells” sa kaniyang Facebook account.

Nirepost nito ang FB status ni Ethel Pineda na “‘Pag tinawag kang tanga, I suggest do not make so much fuss in public about it. Do not call attention to yourself, giving people the chance to prove it is indeed true.”

Caption naman ni Usec. Mon, “Words of wisdom from the clever Dr. Ethel Pineda! Alam niyo na ha, guys. Para di malaman ng tao walang brain cells.”

Ang post na ito ay ipinost ni Usec. Mon matapos siyang hamunin ni Neil Arce ng lalake sa lalake dahil sa naunang patutsada nito sa asawang si Angel na tinawag na “walang braincells”.

“Hey Mon I don’t know you, but people have been sending me this post. Mukhang sobrang tapang mo sa Facebook sir. I respect your political stand and your opinions but insulting my wife personally is a bit off.

“You can message me here on Facebook kung matapang ka talaga kita tayo no weapons no bodyguards lalake sa lalake lang kung di ka lalaki baka may kuya ka or kapatid na bata. Puwede na din proxy. Hope to see you soon,” saad ni Neil.

Ngunit ngayon lang ay naglabas ng statement si PIA Usec. Mon Cualoping na hindi ito kakasa sa hamon ni Neil.

“To those insisting that I go on a fist fight with the husband, I will not because it does not solve anything. It’s not the crux of the matter,” saad nito.

“Also, the gender card shouldn’t be played here because discourse is discourse. This is not a case of misogyny. Not at all.

“Respect has been accorded. I did not body shame anyone nor I made it personal. Nor questioned her profession and intention to help people. I just said I had to say to put things in perspective,” dagdag pa nito.

Ito ay parte ng kaniyang statement matapos siyang punahin ni Arlene Muhlach sa kaniyang pahayag ukol sa kapwa artistang si Angel Locsin.
