Bakit sina Maymay at Melai ang paboritong PBB housemates ni Robi?

KUNG may dalawang produkto ng “Pinoy Big Brother” (PBB) na paborito ng isa sa mga host ng nasabing reality show na si Robi Domingo, yan ay walang iba kundi sina Melai Cantiveros at Maymay Entrata.

Parehong naging big winner ng “PBB” ang dalawang Kapamilya stars at para kay Robi, sina Maymay at Melai ang pinaka-favorite niya dahil sa kakaibang personalidad at taglay na karisma ng mga ito.

Nakachikahan ng ilang members ng entertainment media si Robi, kasama ang dalawa pang “PBB” host na sina Toni Gonzaga at Bianca Gonzalez sa ginanap na virtual mediacon ng “PBB Kumunity Season 10”.

Dito nga natanong ang tatlo kung sinu-sino sa mga ex-housemates ang paborito nila mula noong  season 1 ng programa.

“A lot of them definitely. I can think of two names right now and it would have to be some of my favorite Big Winners, Melai and Maymay. 

“Because they have that kind of personality na punong puno ng charm and I think they can talk to anyone especially if you’re having a bad day. Instantly without doing anything they can make you smile,” diretsong sagot ni Robi.

Inamin naman ng binata na hindi niya inaasahan na magkakaroon agad ng bagong season ang reality show ng ABS-CBN pagkatapos ng “PBB Connect” na napanood last March.

“Right after the PBB Connect Big Night, binubuyo na namin si lolo (PBB head director Lauren Dyogi) ng, ‘Season 10! Season 10!’ and just like the theme of PBB, yung pangarap puwede magkatotoo. 

“So saktung-sakto after a few nights of the big night, eto na. We’re going to have auditions for the tenth season of PBB,” pahayag ni Robi. 

Inalala rin ng binata ang isa sa mga “unforgettable moment” niya noong maging teen housemate siya ni Big Brother mahigit isang dekada na ang nakararaan.

“My most unforgettable moment siguro not as a host but as a housemate because as a teen yun naman talaga yung hinahanap mo yung parents approval mo eh so I came out from the Big Brother spaceship back in 2008. 

“That was the Big Night and then sinabi na Second Big Placer Robi and umakyat yung parents ko and then si papa niyakap ako and then he said, ‘Anak, job well done.’ So even if I didn’t get the title, I felt that I was the Big Winner,” pagbabalik-tanaw pa niya.

Ibinalita rin ni Robi na isa pa sa mga pinagkakaabalahan niya ngayon ay ang “pangangampanya” para sa  kanyang advocacy na hikayatin ang mga kabataang Filipino na magparehistro para makaboto sa 2022 elections.

“Most recently I was really happy because we got the full support of direk Lauren and Star Magic as we partnered up with Bayan Mo I-Patrol Mo so yun yung malaking advocacy ngayon na ginagawa ng Star Magic at ng iba’t ibang mga management in ABS-CBN to have everyone registered pagdating sa botohan. 

“We got a few days left but right after MECQ I’m sure we had that voter’s registration campaign together with COMELEC and napakaganda,” aniya pa.

Samantala, bukas na ang online audition para sa “PBB Kumunity Season 10”. To audition, hopefuls (20 to 40 years old) just need to download the Kumu app, create an account, and upload a 1-minute Kumu clip where he or she will introduce oneself and say why he or she is deserving to become a housemate, and use the hashtag “PBBKumuAdults.”
