Charo Santos at Daniel Padilla

And the good news keeps pouring in! Kun Maupay Man It Panahon is premiering at the Locarno Film Festival in a little more than a week, followed by Toronto International Film Festival (Tiff) shortly after.

“I was eternally grateful to Carlo Francisco Manatad because I was able to go to TIFF, my dream festival, back in 2018 thanks to his short film ‘The Imminent Immanent.’

“That was a study for a much bigger tapestry, a story about a mother and son ravaged by Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), searching for each other and a new meaning for home, Whether the Weather is Fine or not.

“Congratulations to Jan Pineda, who brought this to Globe Studios even before I came in, and Gene Blue Tamesis, who championed it. To Jil and Joe who kept that fire burning for 5 years.

“To Attorneynang Joji Villanueva Alonso for fighting for this all throughout. And of course, producer extraordinaire Armi Rae Cacanindin, who we loved so much we had to have her join our team (shet ang ganda ng poster mo Justine Besna).”

Pinasalamatan din nina Atty. Joji at direk Quark ang co-producers nila at ang buong team ng “Kung Maupay Man It Panahon (Whether the Whether si Fine)” tulad nina Ling Tiong, Yulia Evina Bhara, Milena Klemke, Yvonne Wellie, Jakob D. Weydemann, Jonas Weydemann.

At para sa iWant naman ay sina Executive Producers: Carlo Katigbak, Cory Vidanes, Roldeo Endrinal, Jamie Lopez, Ginny Monteagudo-Ocampo, Olivia Lamasan, Quark Henares, Jan Pineda, Josabeth Alonso, Armi Rae Cacanindin, Arleen Cuevas.
