Maureen umamin kung bakit sumali sa 2021 Miss Universe PH; ibang-iba ang model sa beauty queen

PARA kay Maureen Wroblewitz, napakalaki at napakaraming pagkakaiba ng pagiging isang model at beauty queen.
Isa ang “Asia’s Next Top Model” winner sa mga may pinakamaraming online supporters bilang isa sa mga kandidata na nakikipaglaban para makapasok sa Top 30 ng 2021 Miss Universe Philippines.
Kaya naman todo ang pasasalamat ng girlfriend ng singer na si JK Labajo sa lahat ng mga taong tumutulong at sumusuporta sa kanyang pageant journey.
“I’m just feeling really grateful to be part of this and to have the support from my family and, of course, my fans, my supporters.
“They have been doing so much for me and really promoting the app and the fan votes online. So I’ve been feeling really, really grateful for that,” pahayag ni Maureen Star Magic Inside News.
Ayon sa dalaga, nagdesisyon siyang mag-join sa Miss Universe Philippines 2021 para sa kanyang sarili at sa mga ipinaglalaban niyang mga advocacy.
“I’ve told myself that if ever I’m going to join, it’s for my advocacies, that I would do it for other people.
“And as much that this is also for my journey and embracing myself, I feel the best way to be able to give that help out, that support, is through helping yourself first.
“Because it is important to start within you so you can give even more. So it is my journey but at the same time, I’m really doing this for other people,” paliwanag pa ni Maureen.
Kasunod nito, sinagot din niya ang tanong kung ano ba sa tingin niya ang pagkakaiba ng modeling sa mundo ng pageantry.
“The difference between modeling and pageantry is that as a model, you are only this canvas. You’re not supposed to talk, as you don’t really have a voice, you’re just posing in front of the camera.
“As a beauty queen, you have an advocacy, you have a voice,” diin pa niyang paliwanag.
Isa si Maureen sa maituturing na fan favorite sa Miss Universe Philippines 2021 matapos makuha ang third spot sa dalawang Miss Universe PH virtual challenge. At dahil dito pasok na siya Top 75.
Mula sa 75 kandidata kukunin ang Top 30 na siyang maglalaban-laban sa grand coronation na gaganapin sa Sept. 25.
Ang mananalo rito ang papalit sa trono ni Rabiya Mateo at lalaban sa gaganaping 2021 Miss Universe bago matapos ang taon.
