Carla emosyonal sa lock-in taping; nag-celebrate ng huling kaarawan bilang ‘single woman’
ILANG buwan bago ang pinakaaabangang kasal nila ni Tom Rodriguez, tila nagiging emosyonal na ang Kapuso actress at TV host na si Carla Abellana.
Sa halip na magkasama nilang inaasikaso ni Tom ang iba pang detalye ng kanilang wedding ay magkalayo sila ngayon dahil sa kani-kanilang trabaho sa GMA 7.
Halos isang buwan nang magkalayo ang engaged couple at inaasikaso na lamang nila ni Tom ang kanilang kasal sa pamamagitan ng zoom meetings.
Sa bagong vlog ni Carla sa YouTube, nagbigay siya ng exclusive tour sa taping ng upcoming series niya sa GMA, ang “To Have And To Hold” sa Orani, Bataan. Dito, ibinahagi niya ang mga challenges na hinaharap niya sa araw-araw na malayo kay Tom at sa kanyang mga alagang aso.
Aniya, “I dreaded being away from my family, Tom and my furbabies for a whole month. I knew it was going to be so hard, most especially emotionally.
“Good thing my Mom and Sister took care of the furbabies while Tom and i were on separate lock-in tapings, and that Tom and i would video call every single day,” sabi ng Kapuso star.
Pero aniya, napakasaya at exciting ang first-leg ng kanilang lock-in taping lalo na noong mag-celebrate siya ng kanyang birthday kasama ang production team at co-stars niya sa “To Have And To Hold.”
“Hotel quarantine while awaiting pull-out for Bataan was a bit sad because we were alone in our hotel rooms for 5 straight days, but as soon as we got to the location everything went smooth and quick.
“We had a happy set too, which definitely helped take the home-sickness away. I celebrated my last Birthday as a single Woman at lock-in taping too! And I was happy.
“Tom and I celebrated our last boyfriend-girlfriend Anniversary separately as well, but we sent each other comfort food as a way to celebrate,” pahayag ni Carla.
Dagdag pa niyang chika, “We’re all just glad everything worked out well, nobody got infected with COVID, and we all finally returned home to be reunited with our families.
“Thank God for this new show I am part of! And thank God for all the other blessings we continue to receive. Enjoy this Vlog and stay extra safe, everyone!”

“It’s been a busy lock-in taping for all of us. Although, magaan ang trabaho namin naman, maayos ang lahat.
“Lahat ng set, lahat ng kasama, lahat ng stand-by area. ‘Yung aming accommodations, the staff lahat, lahat maayos! So far ‘yun na muna, ang aking nakunan for all of you guys for this episode.
“I promise to take more clips next time, but yeah I hope with this episode, kahit paano may idea na kayo sa mga ganap or pangyayari behind-the-scenes of To Have And To Hold. And sana together with all of us,” pahayag pa ni Carla.
