Catriona bumilib sa pagrampa ni Rabiya sa 2020 Miss U, pero…
SA kanyang quarantine hotel na The Playford Adelaide, MGallerry by Sofitel sa Australia napanood ni Catriona Gray ang katatapos lang na 69th Miss Universe na pinanalunan ni Miss Mexico Andrea meza.
Binati ni Catriona si Miss Mexico sa kanyang Twitter account, “To our new #MissUniverse Andrea, when it’s your time, it’s your time. Congratulations and welcome to the @MissUniverse sisterhood!!!”
Pero bago pa man ianunsyo ang nanalong Miss Universe 2020 ay talagang nagtsi-cheer na si Catriona kay Miss Philippines Rabiya Mateo.
Aniya, “Woooow this year is intense!! Sending Rabiya all of our love! She made our Country proud! 11 Year consecutive semi-streak. Pilipinassss #MissUniverse.”
Napansin din ng ating 2018 Miss Universe ang ilang pagbabago sa suot na evening gowns ng mga kandidata ngayon.
“I swear the styling of evening gown portion gets better every year! The hair, the dresses, the accessories, the craftsmanship! Ahhh #MissUniverse,” ani Catriona.
Nang tawagin na ang Top 10, ito ang post ng dalaga, “Another 50% cut. I get nervous everytime #MissUniverse.”
At ang reaksyon niya nang mabuo na ang Top 5, “OMG! 3/5 picks lang me beshies #MissUniverse #Top5.
Sa Q&A portion ay nagustuhan ni Catriona ang sagot nina Miss India at Miss Peru, “Such tough questions!!! India and PERU did really well for me. Remember it is soooo difficult to answer those questions, let alone in front of thousands and in under 30s #Miss Universe.”
Dagdag pa niyang tweet, “How hard you, your teams, your families must have worked, so that you could proudly raise your country’s flags during a global pandemic. I applauded you! Thank you for celebrating women and raising your voices! #MissUniverse.”
At bago tinawag si Miss Mexico bilang Miss Universe 2020, “Before we find out who #MissUniverse2020 is, I wanna take the time to recognize every single delegate. I can’t imagine the hurdles you overcame, the challenges, the difficulties just to get on that stage tonight.”
Samantala, nang hingan naman si Catriona ng reaksyon ni “TV Patrol” reporter Dyan Castillejo tungkol kay Rabiya, sinabi niyang humanga siya sa pagrampa nito sa swimsuit competition.
Maganda raw ang lakad ni Rabiya pati na ang pag-ikot nito, pero napansin niyang ninenerbyos ang ating kandidata pati na noong rumarampa na sa evening gown dahil hindi raw ngumingiti na siguradong napansin din ng judges.
At kahit hindi napasama si Rabiya sa Top 5 ay binati pa rin siya ni Cat dahil ramdam niya kung ano ang pinagdaanang hirap nito sa kabuuan ng 69th Miss U competition.
