Recto: P16B para sa kampanya kontra communist party, hindi sa community pantry

Kawalan ng kagitingan sa isang sundalo ang mga naging pahayag ni AFP – Southern Luzon Command chief, Lt. Gen. Antonio Parlade Jr., ukol sa mga community pantry at kay Ana Patricia Non.

Ito ang sinabi ni Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto at mali na pangaralan ng isang military general ang isang millennial dahil sa pagpapakain sa kanyang kapwa.

“So something is terribly wrong when a general berates a millennial because she fed her neighbors. There is no valor in that. It is also unfair to our soldiers, because one officer’s perceived act of bullying does not endear our Armed Forces to the people they have sworn to protect,” diin ni Recto.

Paalala pa niya ang P16 bilyon na pera ng taumbayan na ibinigay sa NTF-ELCAC ay para sa kampaniya laban sa Communist Party at hindi sa mga community pantry.

Dagdag pa ni Recto, hindi isang babae na nagtutulak lang ng kariton ng mga pagkain ang kalaban kundi ang bansa na pumapasok sa teritoryo ng bansa at itinataboy ang ating mga mangingisda.

“Someone called her Satan. But to millions who believe in her cause, and are taking it up, she has become the Patreng saint of Maginhawa,” patukoy ni Recto kay Non.
