Kakai binalaang tigilan na si Mario Maurer dahil kung hindi…
NAGBANTA na ang talent management ng Thai actor na si Mario Maurer laban sa Kapuso comedienne na si Kakai Bautista.
Pinadalhan na ng demand letter si Kakai mula sa legal counsel ng Kwaonhar Nine Nine Co., Ltd., ang kumpanya sa Thailand na nagma-manage ng showbiz career ni Mario.
Ito’y dahil umano sa paggamit ng komedyana sa pangalan ng Thai actor sa kanyang mga interview, partikular na ang palagi raw nitong sinasabi na close sila ni Mario at kung anu-ano pang impormasyon na wala raw katotohanan.
Narito ang laman ng demand letter na ipinadala sa Artist Gallery Management na siyang nangangalaga sa career ng komedyana.
“Subject: Demanding to Cease, Desist and Refrain from further use and reference of the name of Mario Maurer.
“Upon consultation with our client, we would like to confirm that all statements and claims made by Catherine ‘Kakai Bautista’ regarding her claims of proximity to Mario Maurer are hereby DENIED as false and untrue.
“By so using the name of our talent, Catherine ‘Kakai’ Bautista is improperly exploiting the name, image and reputation of Mario Maurer and his manager, and may be violating existing laws of the Republic of the Philippines and the Kingdom of Thailand,” sabi pa sa sulat.
Nakasaad pa sa demand letter: “Should you fail to confirm to us in writing that you have complied and/or will comply with the above demand to cease, desist and refrain under this letter hereof, our talent, Kwaonhar and its staffs will have no other alternative but to pursue (without any further notice to you) formal claims against your talent to protect his rights to the broadest extent.
“If you fail to comply with the foregoing, Kwaonhar reserves all of its legitimate right to claim for other damages and expenses incurred as a result of this matter. You should govern your contracted talent accordingly and responsibly.”
Habang sinusulat ang balitang ito ay wala pang inilalabas na official statement ang kampo ni Kakai. Agad na ilalabas ng BANDERA ang magiging pahayag ng komedyana hinggil sa isyung ito.
Samantala, kahapon nag-post pa sa kanyang Instagram page si Kakai ng kanyang litrato na naka-one-piece swimsuit. Kuha ito habang naglalakad siya sa dalampasigan.
Sa caption, tila may nais patamaan si Kakai, “Hoooh, hirap pag sobrang gandaaaa. ISMAYL si Tyang sa mga taong ayaw tumigil. #dentaldiva #kapit #KakaiAdbentyurs.”
Kung matatandaan, nakasama ni Kakai si Mario sa pelikulang “Suddenly It’s Magic” noong 2012 na pinagbidahan ng Thai superstar at ni Erich Gonzales.
