Liza napiling magbigay-boses sa bida ng Netflix original anime series na ‘Trese’

KUMPIRMADO! Si Liza Soberano na nga ang maswerteng napili para magbigay-boses sa lead character ng upcoming Netflix original anime series na “Trese.”

Ngayong araw naglabas ng official announcement ang Netflix tungkol sa pagkakapili sa Kapamilya young actress bilang si Alexandra Trese.

Si Alexandra ang pangunahing karakter sa sikat na anime series na “Trese” na ibinase sa Filipino graphic novel nina Bujette Tan at KaJO Baldisimo.

Pahayag ni Liza, isang malaking achievement ang paggamit sa kanyang boses para sa nasabing iconic comics character.

“It’s an honor to be the voice of an iconic character such as Alexandra Trese. I’m a huge fan of Budjette and KaJO’s award-winning ‘Trese’ comics. Maraming salamat! Excited na ‘ko!” ang caption ni Liza sa ini-repost niyang statement ng Netflix.

Bumuhos naman ang pagbati at papuri para sa dalaga mula sa mga netizens na nagkakaisa sa pagsasabing perfect choice ang girlfriend ni Enrique Gil for the project.

Samantala, ang Fil-Am Hollywood star namang si Shay Mitchell ang napiling magboses kay Alexandra Trese sa English version ng nasabing anime series.

Excited na rin si Shay at feeling “thrilled” para sa proyektong ito na unang sumikat at nakilala sa mga programang “You” and “Pretty Little Liars”.

“I’m so excited to be a part of a unique and amazing project like ‘Trese’, and to voice a character as brilliant as Alexandra Trese.

“Philippine folklore is rich and fascinating, and I am thrilled to be a part of the team bringing this story to life,” pahayag ng aktres.

Ayon naman kay Jay Oliva na involved din sa “Wonder Woman” at “The Legend of Korra”, na siyang executive producer ng series, alam niya sa simula pa lang na magiging extra challenging ang bago niyang project.

“As a fan of the komiks, I knew that the title role of Alexandra Trese was going to be challenging to cast for the animated series. It is important for the voice talent to embrace the layered character to fully become Alexandra Trese,” ani Jay.

Pero ipinagdiinan niyang, “My concerns went away as soon as Shay Mitchell stepped into the recording booth. Shay’s Alexandra exceeded my expectations and she delivers a performance of strength, determination, and family duty that is at the very core of the character.
