Nagpakalat ng pekeng video scandal ni Maine sa socmed kakasuhan; pati mga nag-share damay

BINANTAAN ng talent management ni Maine Mendoza ang mga taong nasa likod ng kumakalat na fake “video scandal” ng TV host-actress sa social media.

Mariing pinabulaanan ng “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads na siya ang babaeng nasa viral video matapos makita ang ipinost na screenshots ng isang netizen.

Sa kanyang Twitter account, sinabi ng girlfriend ni Arjo Atayde na totoong kamukha niya ang taong nasa video pero aniya, “Wtf???? Sobrang kamukha ko kinilabutan ako pero hindi ako to!”

Kasabay nito, mariin ding pinabulaanan ng manager ni Maine na si Rams David na ang Dubsmash Queen ang nasa sex video at nagbabala sa lahat ng magse-share nito sa kanilang socmed accounts.

Sa official statement ng All Access to Artists, Inc. ni Rams David, sinabi nitong “digitally manipulated using deepfake technology” ang nasabing video.

“Ms. Mendoza is not involved in the said video and neither does she participate in the making of pornographic and other explicit materials.

“All Access to Artists will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action against any person circulating the same.

“We intend to hold those individuals criminally and civilly liable for the damage caused to Ms. Mendoza.

“We remind the public to be more discerning of the content they see online and to help us take down this voyeuristic and defamatory content.

“We are grateful for you continued trust and support for Ms. Mendoza. Rest assured that we are taking all the necessary steps to hold the individuals involved accountable and we are coordinating with the proper government agencies to remove the content online permanently,” sabi pa sa official statement ng All Access to Artists.
