Atas ng NTC sa telcos: Siguruhing may tech staff sa mga lugar na dadaanan ng Bagyong Ulysses

Inatasan ng National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) ang mga kumpanya sa telekomunikasyon na siguruhing may mga technical at support personnel na nakaantabay sa mga lugar na tatamaan ng Bagyong Ulysses.

“Pursuant to Memorandum Order No. 05-04-2011, you are hereby directed to ensure that there are sufficient number of technical and support personnel and standby generators with extra fuel, tools and spare equipment in the areas forecast to be affected by the incoming Typhoon Ulysses,” ayon sa memorandum na ipinalabas ni NTC Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba.

Huling namataan ang Bagyong Ulysses sa layong 100 kilometro sa kanluran ng Virac, Catanduanes o 350 kilometro sa silangan ng Infanta, Quezon kaninang alas-10:00 ng umaga.

Kumikilos ito sa bilis na 20 kilometro kada oras sa direksyong westward.

May taglay lakas ng hangin na 125 kilometers per hour ang bagyo at pagbugso na 155. Lumakas pa at isa nang ganap na typhoon ang Bagyong Ulysses.

“In line with this, you are also directed to preposition mobile cellsites in the affected regions and these should be made ready for deployment anytime,” wika ni Cordoba.

“You are reminded of your responsibility to submit reports to the Commission of the status of your respective network and facilities,” dagdag pa niya.
