Pumanaw na si Fr. Erasmo “Sonny” Ramirez ngayong Sabado sa gulang na 74.
“We pray for the eternal repose of the soul of Fr. Sonny Ramirez, OP, Letran alumnus,” ang nagdadalamhating pahayag ng Colegio de San Juan de Letran sa Intramuros, Manila.
Kinumpirma ang malungkot na balita ng kanyang pamangking si Eric Remirez.
“My heart is in a lot of hurt this evening with the very sad news of my Uncle passing away. Deep down I know he is with his best friend, the Lord. I can imagine him enjoying himself with his brothers and parents,” ani Eric Ramirez sa kanyang Facebook post.
“I truly wish we could have had more time spent together despite our physical distance,” dagdag pa niya.
“Rest In Peace Tito Sonny Ramirez. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please watch over us until we meet again.”
Si Father Ramirez ay isang kilalang paring Dominikano na naging spiritual adviser ng mga kilalang tao.
