P716,000 halaga ng shabu, nasabat sa Lapu-Lapu City
Arestado ang dalawang drug suspect sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng mga awtoridad sa Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu Biyernes ng hapon.
Ayon sa Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Central Visayas (PDEA RO7), isinagawa ang operasyon sa bahagi ng Sitio Mustang, Barangay Pusok bandang 4:00 ng hapon.
Naaresto sa operasyon sina Antonjan Madrid Regis, 23-anyos, at Jojie Binondo Regis, 40-anyos.
Sinabi ng PDEA RO7 na dati nang naaresto si Antonjan Regis ngunit nakalaya dahil sa plea bargaining taong 2018.
Nakuha sa dalawa ang 12 pakete na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng P716,040.
Nakumpiska rin ng mga awtoridad ang ginamit sa buy-bust na boodle money at iba pang non-drug evidence.
Mahaharap ang mga drug suspect sa kasong paglabag sa Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) at Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
