Is GMA getting Megan Young back?

We had to write Megan again dahil one, it’s not Bangkok, Thailand pala ang Miss World pageant this year but in Jakarta, Indonesia this Sept. 28. Ikalawa, we did not know that other than the crown, Megan was the most awarded that night pala with six special awards, so talagang deserving ang Miss World title niya that even her hair that coronation night, ready for the crown na nga ang ayos.

Isa pa rin sa mga prizes pala ni Megan for winning Miss World crown is a one year management contract with GMA and GMA Artist Center. Does that mean the Kapuso network is taking back the former Starstruck II avenger turned ABS contract artist and Star Magic girl currently on loan with TV5 via the nine-week series Misibis Bay? Na-break na ba ang unwritten rule noon ng GMA not to take back Starstruck alumni who moved out of the network. Quite ironic pang si Megan ang first to move out and now first to return.

Anyways, dalawa ang happiest Kapuso sa pagkakapanalo ni Megan sa Miss World. Una na siyempre ang kaniyang “special friend” of years and years (hindi pa rin umaamin sa tunay nilang relationship, bawal daw?) na si Mikael Daez who actually wanted to co-host pa man din sa Miss World noon but decided not to baka magkaroon ng shades of unfairness. Ikalawa is her sister, Lauren Young, who is also a new Kapuso na rin via the top primetime soap Mundo Mo’y Akin na part ng GMA TeleBabad right after Annakarenina. “Magkakasama-sama” na silang tatlo bilang Kapuso kahit one year lang.
