Rated K ni Korina magpapaalam na: How can you prepare for comatose, or death, really?

KUNG hindi na magbabago ang desisyon ng ABS-CBN, tuluyan na ngang magpapaalam sa ere ang Rated K ni Korina Sanchez.

Halos tatlong dekada ring naglingkod si Korina sa ABS-CBN at habangbuhay daw niya itong tatanawing malaking utang na loob sa istasyon.

Isa ang programa ng Kapamilya TV host-broadcaster sa matatanggal sa tuluyang pagsasara ng network matapos itong pagkaitan ng bagong prangkisa ng Kongreso.

Sa pamamagitan ng kanyang Instagram, muling naglabas ng saloobin si Korina tungkol sa sinapit ng ABS-CBN, lalo na sa lahat ng mawawalan ng show at trabaho ngayong panahon ng pandemya.

Ipinost niya ang isang group photo ng mga Kapamilya stars na kuha sa kanilang Christmas Station ID shoot last year.

“You’re hearing it correctly, so far, I guess. It is a bloodbath. This family is slowly but surely being torn apart. We are called one by one, personally, to be told that we are ‘discontinued’.

“Not news to me. I tried to be prepared. But how can you prepare for comatose, or death, really? Others taking it much harder.

“They have much less options and means. We help those we simply can’t deny, but few can’t save all. Apart from the infliction on the gut, it is the heart where it tugs hardest, this episode,” caption ni Korina sa kanyang IG post.

Sey pa niya, “We have yet to see how it settles. This is, and will continue to be, painful.

“Who knew two years ago that this Christmas Station ID would be the last time, for now, that some of us originals would stand together for a joyful pose?

Bago ito, nag-post ng cryptic message ang host tungkol sa napipintong pamamaalam ng Rated K. Aniya, “ABSCBN. Practically my first job even before graduating [from] college. It is my honor to have been in the very first show that went back on-air that day, after its franchise was returned to the Lopezes in 1987.

“’Watch Us Do It Again’ was our tagline. And ABSCBN did. And more. And how. And this was after the network had to shut down after the declaration of Martial Law, after owner Geny Lopez was jailed and escaped to the US to fight another day, after freedom of the press was killed and then resurrected after more than 20 years.”
