Bagong strain ng swine flu tiyakin na hindi makakapasok ng bansa

DAPAT umanong gumawa na ng hakbang ang gobyerno para mapigilan ang pagpasok ng bagong swine flu mula sa China.

Sinabi ni ACT-CIS Rep. Niña Taduran na mahalaga na kontrolin ng mabuti ang pagpasok ng mga imported na karne ng baboy mula sa China para matiyak na hindi makapapasok ang G4 strain ng H1N1 swine flu.

“We have 94 percent self-sufficiency in pork meat. We don’t need to import more than we need. We must protect, not only the health of our people and the pigs but also the livelihood of our hog raisers by controlling importation,” ani Taduran.

Sinabi ni Taduran na lalong magpapahirap sa bansa kung kakalat ang bagong sakit ng baboy.

“We can not afford another pandemic, so immediate action should be done to avoid a new health problem. The government should protect our people and our livelihood,” dagdag pa ni Taduran.

Ayon sa mga ulat, ang G4 ay strain ng H1N1 na kumalat noong 2009.
