UMABOT na sa 51,113 ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino workers na naiuwi ng Department of Foreign Affairs kaugnay ng coronavirus disease 2019.
Sa naturang bilang 57.33 porsyento o 29,302 Overseas Filipinos ang sea-based at 42.67 porsyento o 21,811 OFs ang land-based.
Ang mga dumating kahapon ay galing sa Japan, Norway, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, USA, at Vietnam.
Ngayong lingo, apat na chartered flights ang sasakyan ng 1,464 OFs mula sa Lebanon, UAE, Saudi Arabia, at Macau SAR.
“The DFA, together with its Philippine embassies and consulates around the world, remains fully committed to bringing home our nationals abroad amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” saad ng pahayag ng ahensya.
