DepEd nakiramay sa estudyante na nagpakamatay daw dahil sa stress na dulot ng online classes

NAKIRAMAY ang Department of Education sa pamilya ng Grade 9 student na nagbigti umano dahil sa mga problemang hatid ng online learning na gagamitin sa School Year 2020-2021.

Pero tinuligsa ng DepEd ang mga grupo na gumagamit umano sa pangyayari upang sirain ang ginagawa ang ahensya para makapagpatuloy ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante sa panahon ng pandemya.

“… we denounce those who concoct opportunistic and insensitive half-truth statements about the learner’s demise to forward their agenda of demonizing the Department’s commitment to provide learning opportunities amidst the pandemic,” saad ng DepEd.

Sinabi ng DepEd na bagamat hindi maaari ang face-to-face classes, hindi nangangahulugan na online lang ang gagamiting paraan sa pag-aaral.

“We are preparing modules for those without internet connectivity or gadgets at home. We will also complement these with educational television programs and radio-based instruction.”

Iginiit ng DepEd na hindi “required” na bumili ng gadget o magpakabit ng internet connection sa bahay para makapagtrabaho.

“Those who insist on framing learning continuity in the context only of online learning are not adequately informed and are misleading the public in the process,” dagdag pa ng DepEd. “Currently, preparations are underway to implement home-based learning through any or a blending of TV, radio, online and printed modules.”

Ang pamamaraan umanong gagamitin ay depende sa kapasidad ng estudyante para mas marami ang makapag-aral.

Ayon sa ina ng biktima palagi nitong naririnig ang anak na nagrereklamo dahil sa gastos sa load at internet fee.
