DepEd nakikipag-usap na sa mga local radio station para sa new normal sa edukasyon

NAKIKIPAG-UGNAYAN na ang Department of Education sa mga istasyon ng radyo lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar bilang paghahanda sa new normal na gagamitin sa pag-aaral ng mga bata.

Sinabi ni Education Sec. Leonor Briones na ang mga regional directors ang nakikipag-usap sa mga local radio stations na maaaring magamit sa mga lugar na mahina ang internet connectivity.

“The regional directors are also negotiating with the local radio stations so that we can reduce the cost,” ani Briones sa briefing nito kay Pangulong Duterte.

Nakikipag-usap na rin ang DepEd sa dalawang telecommunications company—Smart at Globe—para magamit ng libre ang kanilang pasilidad.

“We are negotiating with the two telcos (telecommunication companies) Mr. President na ililibre nila yung paggamit ng kanilang facilities. And I just talked to one of them,” saad ng kalihim.

Umapela si Briones kay Pangulong Duterte na hayaan ang ahensya na ipagpatuloy ang preparasyon para sa pasukan sa Agosto 24.

“Ang appeal namin to allow us to continue our operations based on the road map kasi ang target namin August 24, no face-to-face on August 24, to allow us to continue our preparation kasi nakabuwelo na kami Mr. President if suddenly pulled to a stop baka madapa kami kasi we are moving very very fast,” dagdag pa ni Briones.
