NCR mananatili sa GCQ; Cebu City ibinalik sa ECQ

INAPRUBAHAN ni Pangulong Duterte ang rekomendasyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) na manatili sa general community quarantine (GCQ) ang Metro Manila hanggang Hunyo 30, 2020, samantalang ibinalik naman sa enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) ang Cebu City simula Hunyo 16, 2020 dahil sa pagtaas ng mga kaso ng coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa lungsod.

Binasa ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ang inaprubahang resolusyon ng IATF kung saan bukod sa NCR, kabilang sa sakop ng GCQ ang mga sumusunod:

-Region 2 (maliban sa Batanes) Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Santiago City

-Region 3 – Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Olongapo, Tarlac

-Region 4A, maliban sa Lucena City

-Occidental Mindoro

-Region 7, maliban sa Cebu City at Talisay City

-Zamboanga City

-Davao City

Samantala, isasailalim naman sa modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) ang Talisay City.

Kabilang naman sa sakop ng modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) ang mga sumusunod:

-CAR

-Region 1

-Batanes

-Region 3 – Angeles City, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Zambales

-Lucena City

-Region 4B, maliban sa Occidental Mindoro

-Region 5

-Region 6

-Region 8

-Region 9 maliban sa Zamboanga City

-Region 10

-Region 11, maliban sa Davao City

-Region 12

-Region 13/CARAGA

-BARMM

Sinabi naman ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na ibinalik sa ECQ ang Cebu City dahil sa mabilis na pagdami ng kaso ng COVID 19.

“The increasing number of new cases and widespread community transmission in majority of barangays in the city, as well as consistent case doubling time of less than seven days and significant increase in critical care utilization against critical care capacity were the reasons cited why Cebu City reverted back to ECQ,” sabi ni Roque.
