Lauren kumampi kay Frankie sa isyu ng rape; umaming biktima rin ng sexual harassment

KINONTRA rin ni Lauren Young ang sinabi ng radio-TV commentator na si Ben Tulfo na ang pagsusuot ng seksing damit ng mga babae ang isa sa dahilan kung bakit maraming nabibiktima ng rape.
Kinampihan ng aktres si Frankie Pangilinan na una nang bumanat kay Ben sa paniniwala nito tungkol sa mga rapist at ng kanilang mga biktima.
Ni-repost ni Lauren sa kanyang Twitter account ang pahayag ni Frankie laban sa mga sinabi ni Tulfo kasabay ng pag-amin na naging biktima rin siya ng sexual harassment noon.
Kuwento ng sister ni Megan Young bigla na lang daw dinakma ang kanyanfg dibdib ng isang lalaki noong nagbabakasyon siya sa Boracay.
“I was at a bar in Boracay, sober, with my friends and a guy kept harrassing everyone there.
“He kept talking to me and bothering me and just grabbed my boobs out of nowhere. I was fully covered up even at the beach and yet he violated me publicly. #HijaAko,” tweet ng dalaga.
“It’s not about what you’re wearing – its the fact that he was disgusting and wanted to take advantage of me.
“No I did not give him any signals to do that to me, I was not intoxicated – and even if I was – it doesnt give him the right to do that. #HijaAko,” kuwento pa ni Lauren.
May nagtanong namang netizen kung lasing ba ang lalaking nangharas sa kanya, “Does that excuse what he did? I don’t think so.
“And btw if a woman is intoxicated its her fault? If a man is intoxicated ‘ayy sorry lasing ako’ excuses start to come in. #HijaAko,” aniya pa.
Hirit pa ng nasabing netizen, ibang usapan din daw kung ang lalaking nandakma sa boobs niya ay lasing o hindi. Reply sa kanya ng dalaga, “No I do not see the difference. Because sober or not you do not do that to anyone.
“Stop blaming it on what others wear and EDUCATE others that victims aren’t asking for it if they are dressed ‘SEXY’.
“I’ll wear whatever I want and if its sexy and it turns you on well thats your problem, not mine.
“Because I dress up for me NOT you. Good night! Except to those who make excuses for rapists.
“And you know what, I’m not gonna wear a bra in public and you know why?
“Not because I’m a horny girl asking for it but because my boobs can’t breathe and its uncomfortable, you idiot. #HijaAko,” pahayag pa ni Lauren.
