12 OFWs dumagdag sa bilang ng nahawa ng COVID-19
NADAGDAGAN ng 12 ang bilang ng mga overseas Filipino workers na nahawa ng coronavirus disease 2019.
Ayon sa Department of Foreign Affairs umakyat na sa 5,401 ang kabuuang bilang ng mga OFW na nahawa ng COVID-19.
May naitala namang 64 OFW na gumaling sa naturang sakit. May kabuuang bilang na 2,295 na ang mga gumaling.
Umakyat naman sa 380 ang bilang ng mga nasawi, nadagdagan ng siyam.
“Despite the corrected lower total overall, regional comparative data shows that the Middle East remains to have the highest numbers of COVID positive cases, cases under treatment, and those recovered,” saad ng DFA.
Sa Amerika nagtala ng pinakamaraming OFW na nasawi (153) na sinundan ng Middle East (134).
