Angel Aquino: Halimbawang ma-label kami as terrorist, the consequences are terrifying!
“Maraming natatakot na artists because this is closer to home. The vagueness of the definition of the crime of terrorism in this bill is prone to abuse,” simulang pahayag ng aktres sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.
Aniya, “Magdadalawang-isip kami sa paggawa o pagtanggap ng mga proyekto that might be labelled as inciting to terrorism. Ang laki ng epekto n’yan sa aming craft because that is our expression, to incite emotions.
Risa Hontiveros at Sen. Francis Pangilinan with Jasmine Curtis.
Paliwanag pa ni Angel, “Some provisions of the bill will prevent us artists from performing our roles as mirrors of society, as truth tellers, as thought provokers.
“Our art is a powerful tool to provoke reflection and action kaya tutol kami sa anti-terrorism bill,” dagdag ng aktres.
