Gumagawa sa Build, Build, Build projects pinaalalahan na sumunod sa health protocols

PINAALALAHANAN ni Public Works Sec. Mark Villar ang mga contractor, concessionaire at suppliers ng Build, Build, Build projects na tiyakin na sumusunod ang mga empleyado nito sa itinakdang health protocols.

Ayon kay Villar mahalaga na magtuloy na ang paggawa sa mga malalaking proyekto ng gobyerno na makatutulong sa pag-angat ng ekonomiya.

“The resumption of civil works, although challenging, will be beneficial to our stakeholders, both motorists and pedestrians, as we cope with the new normal,” ani Villar.

Kasama sa flagship projects ng DPWH ang Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge na magdurugtong sa Mandaluyong at Makati City; Bonifacio Global City-Ortigas Center Link Road Project kasama ang pagtatayo ng 440 metrong tulay na magdurugtong sa Lawton Avenue at Makati at Sta. Monica Street sa Pasig City; at ang Binondo-Intramuros Bridge sa Manila.

Ang mga proyektong ito ay inaasahan din na magpapaluwag sa daloy ng trapiko.

Kasama sa health protocol na ipinatutupad ng DPWH ang pagtiyak na mayroong quarters o barracks ang mga empleyado, may suplay ng vitamins ang mga ito bukod pa sa pagsusuot ng masks, gloves, at iba pang protective gears.

Araw-araw din ang ginagawang monitoring sa kalusugan ng mga empleyado.

“If there are any suspected COVID-19 patient, they will be immediately isolated and quarantined for 14 days and if necessary, be brought to our treatment facility for healthcare,” ani Villar.
