Halos 3K OFWs umuwi sa probinsya sakay ng barko

UMABOT na sa 2,930 overseas Filipino workers na stranded sa Metro Manila ang naihatid sa pamamagitan ng barko.
Ayon sa Department of Transportation ang mga OFW ay isinakay sa North Harbor Port Terminal sa Maynila at inihatid sa Cebu, Cagayan, Dumaguete at Butuan.
Ngayong araw ay inaasahan din na aalis ang M/V St. Francis Xavier na maghahatid ng pasahero sa Cebu at Cagayan de Oro.
Bukas naman ay 1,500 OFW ang naka-schedule na umalis papuntang Bacolod, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Cebu, Ozamis, Iligan at Zamboanga sakay ng M/V St. Leo the Great at M/V St. Michael the Archangel.
