Online education subsidy ng Las Pinas scholars aprub na
INAPRUBAHAN ngayong araw ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Las Piñas ang subsidiya sa online education ng 2,000 iskolar ng Dr. Filemon C. Aguilar Memorial College of Las Pinas (DFCAMCLP).
Ani Mayor Imelda Aguilar, maglalaan ng P4.5 milyong pondo para sa mga estudyante at faculty members ng DFCAMCLP bilang suporta sa Blended Learning Progam nito.
“Ang ipinagkaloob na ayuda ay bilang subsidiya sa gagamitin nilang internet at iba pang pangangailangan sa kanilang online learning upang maipagpatuloy ang dekalidad na edukasyon kahit mayroong krisis,” dagdag niya.
Kasama ni Aguilar na lumagda sa memorandum of agreement sina PayMaya Philipines Inc. COO Paolo Azzola, DFCAMCLP officer-in-charge Eugenia Guerra, at City Administrator Rey Balagulan.
Ang tulong pinansiyal ay ipagkakaloob sa mga estudyante sa pamamagitan ng PayMaya card.
Ang paggamit ng cashless disbursement ay alinsunod sa abiso ng World Health Organization (WHO) na huwag nang gumamit ng perang papel para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng Covid-19.
Ang DFCAMCLP ay isa sa 27 colleges and universities sa Pilipinas na benepisyaryo ng free college education.
