Duterte hindi sisibakin si NCRPO Chief Debold Sinas

INIHAYAG ni Pangulong Duterte na hindi niya sisibakin si Philippine National Police (PNP) si National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Debold Sinas sa kabila ng alegasyon ng paglabag sa umiiral na batas na nagbabawal sa mass gathering matapos namang magdaos kamakailan ng birthday party.
“Itong — itong kaso ni Sinas — General Sinas ng sa National Capital Region Commander… Ako ‘yung ayaw na malipat siya,” sabi ni Duterte sa kanyang public address.
Idinagdag ni Duterte na hindi kasalanan ni Sinas kung may mangharana sa kanya sa kanyang birthday.
“Hindi ako sang-ayon. I will not just… Hindi ako ganoon. Pinag-aralan ko ‘yung merits at saka demerits, eh kailangan ko ‘yung tao. Mas kailangan ko iyong tao dito sa trabaho niya. Marami ‘yan silang… They are all competent. But you know seniority. It is his time to be there and I do not believe in just firing him because kinantahan siya ng happy birthday,” giit ni Duterte.
“Pero kung nandiyan na rin, mañanita nga eh. Sabi mo, the law is the law. Well, akin na iyon. It’s my responsibility. But I will not order his transfer. He stays there until further orders,” ayon pa sa Pangulo.
