Next tranche ng SAP maayos na ipamigay

NANAWAGAN si Quezon City Rep. Precious Hipolito Castelo sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno at lokal na pamahalaan na ayusin ang pamimigay ng susunod na ayuda sa ilalim ng social amelioration program.

Umaasa si Castelo na hindi na magiging pahirapan ang pamimigay ng second tranche ng tulong gaya nang nangyari sa unang tranche na para sa buwan ng Abril pero inabot ng Mayo ang ilan.

“They should be able to come up with a more organized distribution system that follows physical distancing and other health and quarantine protocols for the protection of the beneficiaries themselves, their families, government personnel distributing the funds, and the public in general,” ani Castelo.

Dapat ay maiwasan na umano ngayon ang siksikan sa pagkuha ng tulong pinansyal.

“If it is possible, the money should be delivered house-to-house by barangay officers instead of thousands of beneficiaries converging in distribution centers like basketball courts and barangay halls to receive it.”

Batay sa datos ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) noong Biyernes, hindi pa tapos ang pamimigay ng first tranche.

Nabigyan na ng tulong ang 4.4 milyong pamilya na miyembro ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) na nagkakahalaga ng P17.4 bilyon.

Ang 12.9 milyong pamilya na hindi miyembro ng 4Ps ay nabigyan na rin ng P78 bilyong tulong.

“This means that 400,000 4Ps families and 700,000 non-4Ps households had yet to get SAP aid,” ani Castelo.

Target ng gobyerno na matulungan ang 18 milyong pamilya sa unang tranche at 23 milyong pamilya sa ikalawa.
