Ilang barangay sa QC isasailalim sa special concern lockdown

BUMUO ang Quezon City government ng team na magmomonitor sa mga barangay na isasailalim sa “special concern lockdown” sa loob ng 14 na araw dahil sa dami ng mga nahawa roon ng coronavirus disease 2019.

Sa isang press statement, sinabi ng lokal na pamahalaan ang unang QC Laban COVID-19 ay pupuwesto sa special concern lockdown areas simula bukas.

Limang lugar ang inisyal na napiling sumailaim sa special lockdown concern. Pinili ang mga ito batay sa resulta ng isinagawang community based quarantine.

Ang team ay binubuo ng mga tauhan ng City Health Department (CHD), Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Special Action Force (SAF), at Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Joint Task Force-National Capital Region (JTF-NCR).

Ayon kay Assistant City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo magsasagawa rin ng extensive testing sa lugar.

Ang 200 miyembro ng QCPD-AFP-SAF contingent ay sasailalim sa training upang matiyak na malinaw sa kanila ang ipatutupad na panuntunan.

“If clustering was observed in these areas, meaning two or more households in each area have positive cases, it is very likely they will end up under the special concern lockdown,” ayon kay Dr. Rolly Cruz, head ng QC-Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit.

Tiniyak naman ni Mayor Joy Belmonte na mamimigay ng relief goods sa mga apektadong residente.
