Proyektong aalisan ng pondo hihimayin ng Kamara

HIHIMAYIN ng Kamara de Representantes ang mga proyektong hindi na popondohan ng gobyerno ngayong taon para makalikom pondo sa paglaban sa coronavirus disease 2019.

Ayon kay House Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano titignan ng Kongreso kung tama ang mga proyekto o programa na hindi na itutuloy.

“Remember there’s life after COVID or life after ECQ and life after ECQ siguro may COVID pa rin but it is still means that dapat development sa bawat sulok ng ating bansa. So for example, kung ang ika-cancel mong project ay ospital o health center taliwas ata yan sa priorities natin ngayon. So meron po tayo talagang mga project na apektado at kailangan magsakripisyo pero meron ding mga priorities,” ani Cayetano sa panayam matapos itong mamigay ng tulong sa mga miyembro ng Special Action Force sa Taguig City.

Maaari umanong magpatawag ng online hearing ang Kamara upang malinawan ang mga bagay na ito.

Sinabi ni Cayetano na titignan ng Kamara kung anong mga infrastructure projects na ang maaaring hindi muna ituloy o hindi kayang gawin kaya aalisan ng budget.

“….Halimbawa nandyan yung isang project na tulay, multi year, ginagawa na, so siyempre hindi mo pwedeng galawin yung pera kasi kailangan mo nang bayaran yan.”

Dapat din umanong linawin kay Budget Sec. Wendel Abisado ang sinasabi nito na hindi maaaring galawin ang mahigit P4 trilyon general relief funds.

“Katulad halimbawa ng travel, aanhin natin ang budget ng travel ng gobyerno, hindi naman tayo magta-travel outside the country pero yan that was subject of general relief. So baka nagkamali lang si Secretary dahil bago siya.”
