KINUMPIRMA ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III na namatay sa coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) ang kanyang kapatid na si Catherine.
Ani Bello sa public hearing ng Laging Handa, sumakabilang-buhay ang kanyang kapatid Sabado ng umaga.
“Just this morning, we received the news that my sisters, my favorite sister Cathy already left us,” ayon sa opisyal.
“Paborito ko ‘yan si Catherine, sumusunod sa akin ‘yun,” pahayag pa ng opisyal.
“The first to die among 10 children.”
Isinugod sa ospital ang kapatid ng opisyal noong Marso 25. Huli nang malaman na infected na ito ng nakakamatay na virus.
“She was about to recover, I don’t know kung anong nangyari, nag-relapse. Then just this morning, we received the news that my favorite dear sister Cathy already left us,” dagdag pa ni Bello.
