Kita ng Landbank sa pamimigay ng social amelioration fund ipinapa-waive ng solon

NANAWAGAN si House Deputy Speaker Mikee Romero sa Landbank of the Philippines na huwag ng maningil ng service fee sa pagproseso ng P200 bilyong tulong pinansyal sa 18 milyong pamilya sa ilalim ng Bayanihan to Heal As One Law.

Ayon kay Romero maaaring i-waive ng Landbank ang kikitain nito para sa mga pondong ibibigay sa mga mahihirap na pamilya.

Nagkakahalaga ng P100 bilyon ang ibibigay na tulong pinansyal ngayong buwan at P100 bilyon muli sa Mayo. Ang ibibigay ay P5,000-P8,000 bawat pamilya.

Sa Landbank din daraan ang malaking bahagi ng P101.1 bilyon na ibibigay sa 4 milyong benepisyaryo ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) ngayong taon.

Sa 4Ps budget isinama ang P509 milyon na “bank service fee” na malaking bahagi ay mapupunta sa Landbank.

“Based on this amount of bank service fees, we can safely assume that the cost of downloading the P100 billion in financial assistance under the Bayanihan law for this month is in the neighborhood of P500 million,” ani Romero.

 Sinabi ni Romero na kung hindi na maniningil ang Landbank ay madaragdagan ang tulong na maibibigay ng gobyerno.

“P500 million would benefit an additional 100,000 poor households at P5,000 each,” dagdag pa ng solon. “Besides, it is a commercial bank and it is making a lot of money from its commercial operations.”

Sa datos na nakita ni Romero ang Landbank ay kumita ng P18 bilyon noong nakaraang taon.
