Vico Sotto na-wow mali: May tricycle pala ako!?

“MAY tricycle pala ako?!” Yan ang hirit ni Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto nang makita ang “blooper” ng 24 Oras ng GMA 7 kagabi.

Sa nasabing news program, ipinakita si Vico na nagbibigay ng update tungkol sa distribution ng mga food packs sa Pasig habang patuloy na ipinatutupad ang enhanced community quarantine sa Luzon dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic.

Habang iniinterbyu ang batang alkalde, nag-flash sa screen ang  “MAYOR VICO SOTTO” at sa ilalim nga nito ay nakasulat ang mga salitang “TRICYCLE OPERATOR”.

Nang makarating ito sa anak nina Vic Sotto at Coney Reyes, agad niyang ipinost sa kanyang Instagram Story ang screenshot ng nasabing blooper at may caption na, “May tricycle pala ako!”

Ilang sandali lang ang lumipas, nag-post ang isang Zai Taguinod, na nagpakilalang producer ng nasabing balita tungkol kay Vico at nag-sorry sa alkalde ng Pasig.

Tweer ni Zai, “Mayor @VicoSotto! Ako po ‘yung producer ng story na ‘to. Pasig City po dapat ‘yan. Sorry po, nagkamali po yung chargen operator.”

Ibinahagi rin niya ang screenshot ng tamang text sa character generator (chargen) na ilalagay sa Vico Sotto news report.

Agad namang sinagot ng mayor ng Pasig ang tweet ng 24 Oras producer, “Don’t worry about it! Sa panahon ngayon, kailangan din natin ng konting comic relief.”

Nagbiro rin si Vico then joked about how some people could actually be thinking he was a tricycle operator. 

He writes, “Wag lang po ito makita ng *** at baka isipin nila totoo!! Haha (laughing and peace emojis).

“Btw, speaking of tricycles… natapos na natin ang pamamahagi ng tulong-pinansyal sa 87 TODA (Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association) + 2 PODA (Padyak Operators and Drivers’ Association) padyak ng Pasig.”
