NAGPOSITIBO sa coronavirus disease 2019 si Interior and Local Government Sec. Eduardo Año.
Hindi naman umano mapipigilan nito si Año na gampanan ang kanyang trabaho sa Inter Agency Task Force for Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
“I make this announcement to call the attention of all persons I had close contact with to go on self-quarantine and observe any symptoms, in accordance with Department of Health (DOH) guidelines,” dagdag pa ng kalihim.
Mayroon umanong nakasalamuha ang kalihim na nagpositibo sa COVID-19. Wala umanong sintomas si Año at sasailalim sa quarantine sa kanyang bahay kung saan niya ipagpapatuloy ang kanyang trabaho.
“The result of my test will not in any way dampen my spirit and energy to do my job.”
Nanawagan din si Año sa publiko na manatili sa bahay at sundin ang social distancing.
“Your strong commitment will help defeat the virus. Thank you for your support, and God bless us all.”
