PGH, Heart at Lung Center may 18,000 surgical masks mula DPWH

TUMANGGAP ang tatlong pangunahing pampublikong ospital sa Metro Manila na may mga pasyenteng tinamaan ng COVID-19 ng 18,000 piraso ng surgical masks mula sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Dagdag proteksyon ito para sa medical frontliners ng Philippine Heart Center, Lung Center of the Philippines at Philippine General Hospital, sabi ni DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.
Donasyon ang mga masks ng isang holding company na may investment sa magkakaibang industriya sa Pilipinas ayon kay Villar.
“More than the surgical masks, the DPWH management and employees are also one in prayers for the safety and protection of the Filipino families, especially the medical teams working at the frontline to assist the patients,” dagdag ng kalihim.
Maliban sa mga nabanggit na pagamutan, tumanggap din ang Veterans Memorial Medical Center ng 2,000 piraso, San Pedro Calungsod Medical Center (5,000 piraso) at Land Transportation Office-National Capital Region (2,000 piraso).
