PORMAL nang pinirmahan ni Pangulong Duterte ang “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act”, na nagbibigay sa kanya ng special powers para malabanan ang coronavirus disease (COVID-19) sa bansa.
Pasado alas-12 ng hatinggabi nang mapirmahan ang batas, ayon kay Sen. Christopher “Bong” Go.
Idinagdag ni Go na walang vineto si Duterto na probisyon ng Bayanihan to Heal as One Act.
“Oo, signed entirely, sabi ni Go.
Sa kanyang video message bago pirmahan ang batas, sinabi ni Duterte na inihahanda ng gobyerno ang National Action Plan (NAP) laban sa COVID-19.
“To the Filipino people, rest assured that your entire government is working hand-in-hand to safeguard your health, safety and well-being in the face of the threat posed by COVID-19. We will address all the different issues brought about by this pandemic as well as ensure the protection of all of our people, especially those who are serving in the frontlines,” sabi ni Duterte.
