Cancer patient ginulat ni Heart: Totoo ba ito? Hindi ako makapaniwala!
MATAPOS ma-bash at manega dahil sa naging pahayag niya tungkol sa isang bone cancer patient, nagpasabog naman ng good vibes si Heart Evangelista sa social media ngayong araw.
Kamakailan ay napilitang mag-sorry ang Kapuso actress matapos umani ng batikos nang magkomento siya tungkol kay Cynthia Espiritu, ang babaeng may cancer na napilitang maglakad mula sa Masinag, Antipolo hanggang sa isang checkpoint sa Marcos Highway para lang makapunta Philippine General Hospital.
Tweet ng aktres, “Dearest Cynthia, thank you for inspiring others to smile and stay positive. God bless you and your friend.”
Hindi ito nagustuhan ng mga netizens at tinawag na “insensitive” at “tone-deaf” ang kanyang pahayag sa gitna ng pakikipaglaban at pagsasakripisyo ng sambayanan laban sa COVID-19 crisis.
Sabi sa kanya ng isang netizen, “On a range of 1 to Heart Evangelista, how tone-deaf are you to the plight of the poor?”
“As much as i admire heart evangelista for her poise and elegance, it’s evident that she’s really out of touch with reality. we have to stop drawing iNsPiRaTiOn from the struggles of the poor. naglolokohan na lang tayo at this point,” comment naman ng isa pa.
Agad namang humingi ng sorry si Heart sa lahat ng na-offend sa kanyang mensahe, “I deleted all my previous tweets. I understand the hate. I should have elaborated my sentiments more. I am sorry. So sorry.”
Kanina, kumalat sa Facebook ang status ni Cynthia Espiritu tungkol sa pag-uusap at pangungumusta sa kanya ni Heart. Ipinost niya ang screenshots na kuha mula sa video ng sorpresang pakikipag-chat sa kanya ng Kapuso actress.
Caption ng cancer patient sa kanyang FB post, “I still can’t believe. Ms. Heart, totoo ba ito? Napakasaya ng puso ko sobra. Maraming salamat sa effort makita ako. Can’t wait to meet in person soon. Mabuhay ka, Ms. Heart. God bless.”
Sinagot naman agad ito ni Heart ng,
“God bless you, mahal.”
Pinusuan at ni-like ito ng maraming netizens at pinuri si Heart sa ginawang pag-reach out kay Cynthia.
