Gary hinikayat ang madlang pipol na lumapit sa Diyos: No, hindi ito tungkol sa religion

Nauna nang nag-announce ang singer na si Ogie Alcasid sa pag-atras ng concert nila ni Ian Veneracion, ang “KilaboTitos,” sa March 20 and 21.
“I was the one who decided on it,” text message ni Ogie sa amin. Ang company nina Ogie, ang ATeaam, kasi ang producer ng concert.
“Of course, it’s time for us really to be sensitive and really pray. We also need to take extra precaution to keep people safe. I am all for it,” say ni Ogie patungkol sa pag-suspend sa mga live shows ng ABS-CBN.
Tinanong din namin si Ogie kung ano ang gagawin niya kapag nagkaroon na ng lockdown sa buong Metro Manila? “We just have to be prepared.”
Nag-post naman si Gary Valenciano ng kanyang mensahe para sa mga kababayayan natin dahil sa sitwasyon ng bansa.
“In the midst of the fear, anxiety, and uncertaint that surrounds us all, perhaps all this can serve as a away of drawing us to Him. This may be a personal crossroad for many who have often relied on science and medicine; both are struggling to find a cure for CoViD19,”
Ini-encourage niya ang public na lumapit sa Diyos especially sa nangyayari sa bansa.
“No, my friend, this isn’t about religion but something far deeper. It’s life as we know it today and many changes have come with it. But He has remained the same yesterday, today, and will remain the same forever.”
“I leave you with this song I wrote years ago….Take Me Out Of The Dark and a few passages of truth that may speak to you and bring peace and hope into your souls,” mensahe pa niya.
Ang mga tinutukoy na passages ni Gary ay ilang verses of encouragement from the Holy Bible gaya ng Proverbs 12:25, Philippians:6-7 and Job 5:8-9.
