‘Bata’ ni Sara Du30 sinibak ni Cayetano

SA gitna ng umano’y tangkang pagpapatalsik kay Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano, tinanggal sa puwesto ngayong araw ang dalawang kongresista na may hawak ng makapangyarihang puwesto.

Sinibak si Davao City Rep. Isidro Ungab bilang chairman ng House committee on appropriations at pinalitan ni ACT-CIS Rep. Eric Yap. Iniwan ni Yap ang pagiging chairman ng House committee on games and amusement na ibinigay naman kay Abra Rep. Joseph Bernos.

Si Ungab ay kilalang kaalyado ni Davao City Mayor at presidential daughter Sara Duterte. Si Ungab ang manok ni Duterte noong speakership race.

Tinanggal din si Oriental Mindoro Rep. Doy Leachon bilang lider ng contingent sa House of Representatives Electoral Tribunal.

Siya ay pinalitan ni Kabayan Rep. Ron Salo.

Si Leachon ay naunang dumepensa kay Marinduque Rep. Lord Allan Velasco na inakusahan ni Cayetano na nangunguna sa planong kudeta laban sa kanya.

Ngayong araw ay pinangunahan ng mga babaeng mambabatas ang sesyon bilang bahagi sa paggunita ng National Women’s Month. Sinuspindi ang sesyon at pagbalik ay nagmosyon si House Deputy Majority Leader Crispin Remulla kaugnay ng pagtanggal kina Ungab at Leachon.

Inaprubahan ni House Deputy Speaker Raneo Abu, presiding officer, ang mga mosyon.
