GUMAWA na naman ng history ang Korean girl group na BLACKPINK matapos umabot sa 800 million views ang kanilang debut music video.
Ayon sa Korean news outlet na Soompi, isa na namang milestone sa kanilang career ang nakamit ng grupo dahil sa patuloy na tagumpay ng kanilang hit single na “BOOMBAYAH”.
Ito ang sinasabing first ever K-pop debut music video to hit 800 million views. Ang BLACKPINK ay binubuo nina Kim Jennie, Lisa Manoban, Park Chaeyoung better known as Rose at Kim Jisoo at hindi lang sa Asia nagmarka ang grupo kundi maging sa iba pang bahagi ng mundo.
“BLACKPINK’s music video for BOOMBAYAH surpassed 800 million views on YouTube–making it the first K-pop debut music video in history to achieve the feat,” ayon sa report.
Ang “BOOMBAYAH” music video ay ini-release noong Aug. 8, 2016 at makalipas nga ang halos apat na taon, humamig na ito ng mahigit 800 million at patuloy pa ring tumataas.
