‘Kapamilya stars naniniwalang lalambot din ang puso ni Duterte’

Ronnie Carrasco III - December 30, 2019 - 12:01 AM

WE may not in any way connected with ABS-CBN, but we empathize with friends (even the ones we hardly know) whose future rests in March, 2020, the most feared date as the network’s franchise expires at malabong i-renew upon the (whimsical?) orders of the President.

Putting his foot down, kung siya lang ang masusunod ay nais niyang bumoto ang Kongreso against the franchise renewal.
If it’s any good news, hati ang damdamin ng Lower Chamber that we’re inclined to believe that there are actually more congressmen who are in favor of an extension than go for shutting it down.

Ewan kung nagkakamali lang kami, but its rival station has already announced its upcoming projects this 2020.

Nariyan ang pambatang action fantasy tampok ang balik-tahanang si Sen. Bong Revilla, ang Tagalog adaptation ng isang Koreanovela ng isang aktor, still another light dramedy (nga ba?) starring Gabby Concepcion opposite an actress, and who knows, there might be more.

In contrast, wala as of yet kaming nababalitaang mga aabangang programa sa ABS-CBN. All that we know, status quo lang ang mga existing programs.

But as far as the population of Kapamilya artists are concerned, mas nagbibigkis ang isa’t isa bilang collective appeal na huwag sanang mangyari ang kanilang pinangangambahan.

They owe it to their audience, after all.

The public in general should not be denied access to information sa pamamagitan ng mga ulat-balitang isinasahimpapawid ng istasyon, its radio arm included, kung paanong hindi rin dapat ipagkait sa mga manonood ang mga makabuluhang panooorin.

Kung babalik pa rin sa unaired political ads ang isyu, matagal na sanang naresolba ‘yan had President Rodrigo Duterte kept an open mind and a sober stance.

In a way, ABS-CBN made amends for its shortcomings by guesting the administration bets sa ‘di mabilang nitong mga programa at the height of the campaign season. Kung kulang pang pambayad ‘yon, we couldn’t think on what other terms could debts be repaid.

Samantala, we’d like to think ABS-CBN is least bothered under the threat na maipasara ito.

With the recent contract renewal of a couple of its talents led by Jake Cuenca (the most popular of them all), ang mga

Life goes on for the beleaguered TV network and its artists, short of saying they believe President Digong won’t make good his threat.

Samantala, let this be a pahabol thank you due the network’s CorpCom headed by Kane Choa. Sa pamamagitan ni Aaron Domingo, they had a little something for us personally delivered by their staff Drew sa mismong lugar namin sa Pasay City.

For sure, it was also pre-arranged by good friend Eric John Salut who’s aware of our health condition as well.
This is one of the many, many reasons why ABS-CBN has to stay beyond March this year.
