‘Malvar’ producer suportado ang adbokasiya ni Duterte

JOSE MALVAR VILLEGAS, JR. AT MANNY PACQUIAO

SUPORTADO ng produksyong bubuo sa kontrobersyal na pelikulang “Malvar”, na pagbibidahan ni Sen. Manny Pacquiao, ang isa sa mga adbokasiya ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte hinggil sa Independent Foreign Policy.

Ayon kay Atty. Jose Malvar Villegas, Jr., Founder-Chairman Emeritus ng 2 million strong Citizen Crime Watch (CCW) at ng Grandson of National Hero Gen. Miguel Malvar, nagpasiya siyang gawin ang nabanggit na all-star cast movie dahil ang ideya na gawing pelikula ang buhay ng magiting na heneral 20 years ago ay hindi natupad sa pangamba ng mga movie producer na ma-offend ang American government.

Ilalantad kasi ng pelikula ang kalupitan ng mga Amerikano noong 1899-1902 Philippine-American War kung saan pinangunahan ni Gen. Malvar ang Filipino forces bilang Supreme Commander ang 1898 Philippine Revolutionary Republic pagkatapos ni Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo.

Sinabi ni Villegas na marami ang sumusuporta ngayon sa paglikha ng “Malvar” dahil nga sa adbokasiya ni President Duterte na Independent Foreign Policy “that will cut the strangle-hold of the Americans on the lives of the Filipinos.”
Sabi naman ni Camarines Sur Vice Gov. Imelda Papin, President of the Actors Guild of the Philippines at Line Producer ng “Malvar,” dadalo si Sec. Salvador Panelo, Presidential Chief Legal Counsel and Presidential Spokesman para maging keynote speaker sa JMV Film Production (ni Atty. Villegas), sa Christmas Assembly Seminar. “This is intended also to light the torch toward the correct history of the 1896 Philippine Revolution and the 1899-1902 Philippine-American War by the filming of ‘Malvar’ na gaganapin sa Aberdeen Court, Quezon City sa Dec. 22, with Batangas Gov. Hermilando Mandanas as the guest of honor and speaker.”

Pahayag naman ni Jose “Kaka” Balagtas, ang magdidirek ng pelikula, isa sa mga ipakikita nila sa “Malvar” ay ang Balangiga Massacre sa Samar, kung saan libu-libong sibilyang Filipino ang minasaker ng mga Amerikano, na sa mahigit isang century ay saka lamang naisauli ang tatlong Balangiga Bells dahil na rin sa tulong ni President Duterte.

Ayon pa kay Villegas, ang mga Pilipino ay patuloy na lumalaban sa mga dayuhan sa pakikialam “on the affairs of Government and the democratic lives of the people in the choice of their leaders, destroying our culture, heritage and nationalistic spirit all-together.”
