Palasyo iginiit na ligtas pa rin ang mga kalye sa MM matapos ang mga ulat ng kidnapping

IGINIIT ng Palasyo na ligtas pa rin ang mga kalye sa Metro Manila matapos namang mag-viral ang isang video kaugnay ng nangyaring kidnapping sa Makati City nitong Lunes.

Sa isang briefing, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson at Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo na bagamat hindi pa niya batid kung nakarating na kay Pangulong Duterte ang ulat, tiniyak niya na iniimbestigahan na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang insidente para matukoy ang nasa likod nito.

I think that particular incident is isolated. I have not heard of any kidnapping cases reported whether by the media or by word of mouth – except for that video that went viral,” sabi ni Panelo.

Hinimok naman ni Panelo ang publiko na laging maging alerto.

 “They should always be alert whenever they are out and be conscious around them. If they see any suspicious men or women lurking around, they should report it immediately to the police authorities,” ayon pa kay Panelo.

Iginiit niya na ligtas pa rin ang lumabas ng kalye sa kabila naman ng mga ulat ng sunod-sunod na pagdukot.

Kinumpirma ng Makati police ang pagdukot sa isang babae sa kahabaan ng commercial road Paseo de Roxas sa Makati City hatinggabi noong Lunes.

Makikita sa video na isinakay ang babae ng isang puting van.
