SUBIC, ZAMBALES – Wagi agad sa opening games ng 3oth Southeast Asian Games men’s beach volleyball competition ang Pilipinas.
Binigo ng PHL 1 pair nina James Buytrago at Jaron Requinton sina Robson Xavier at Christian Jean ng Timor Leste 1 sa loob ng dalawang sets, 21-13, 21-16.
Tagumpay din ang duo nina Jude Garcia at Edmar Bonono bitbit ang PHL 2 laban kina Silvano Aduauo at Denyanos Belo ng Timor Leste 2, 21-7, 21-16.
