And, I feel very excited that I’m part of this event.”
Ang “Yours Truly, Shirley” ang kauna-unahang pelikula ni Regine sa Cinema One Originals and her first after six years of absence sa big screen.
Dahil in competition ang movie ni Regine sa festival, marami ang nagru-root for her to win the Best Actress award, “Ay, alam mo, never naman akong nag-iisip na…basta I have a good movie. Kung manalo then, you know, it’s great. Pero kung hindi, I’m okey. Walang expectations.”
I’m not sure. It was offered to me and I accepted it,” pahayag niya.
Speaking of “The Lighthouse,” ang husay-husay pareho nina Willem at Robert sa pelikula. After ng “Twillight” films ni Robert, he has proven his worth as an actor sa “The Lighthouse.”
Hats-off talaga kami sa film choice ng Cinema One Orihinals head na si Ronald Arguelles sa pagpili ng international film na ipalalabas nila para sa opening night para sa one of the most prestigious na independent film festivals sa bansa.
Last year, ang bonggang first team-up nina Bradley Cooper at Lady Gaga na “A Star is Born” ang ipinalabas sa opening night ng Cinema One Originals na talagang lumikha ng ingay sa film industry.
The 15th Cinema One Originals will run until Nove. 17 at Trinoma, Glorietta, Ayala Manila Bay, Gateway and Powerplant Makati.
