Throwback interview ni Boy sa Barretto sisters patok sa socmed

Ronnie Carrasco III - November 11, 2019 - 12:01 AM

BOY ABUNDA

SENT through PM (private message), our US-based brother uploaded a video of long ago ng guesting ng mga Barretto sisters Gretchen, Marjorie and Claudine on Private Conversations with Boy Abunda.

Ang order na ito was also their seating arrangement, all three comfortably seated on a couch. Of the three, ang pinakanagbago ang itsura was Claudine who had a slimmer figure back then.

Her seemingly ngarag look, however, spoke how hard-working she was noong mga panahong ‘yon perhaps with hardly any chance to prettify herself kumpara sa fresh-looking na si Gretchen na noon pa ma’y hayahay lang sa buhay.

Those were happier times, ‘ika nga. A snippet of the past which is unlikely to ever happen in the future, but who knows?

Isang one whole episode ‘yon devoted to the three sisters’ revelations about one another based on the simplest questions tulad ng sino’ng pinakamaganda, had the most number of boyfriends, the best in the acting department, pinakagalante, the most frugal, the most thoughtful, the most caring toward their parents, pinakapikon, the richest, etc..

It was a video long ago in the sense na ang sagot sa tanong as to who among them was the richest turned out to be Claudine. “On her own,” depensa ni Marjorie on Claudine’s behalf, seemingly dating as far back noong hindi pa napapabalitang nagkakaproblema ang huli sa kanyang finances.

Tiyak na kung babalikan ang panahong ‘yon, that particular PCBA episode generated the highest ratings.

The now-viewer could only feel sad watching that episode though. Just as the world thought that theirs was a solid, sturdy sisterhood ay hindi pala that it has become fragmented as it is now factious.
