“Write About Love is a film of many firsts. Aside from it being my first directorial assignment, it is also the first major starrer of Miles. I am truly grateful to TBA Studios for allowing me to write, produce and direct this beautiful film.

“Miles is perfect for the role because of her authenticity. She is currently taking up Creative Writing at UP Diliman and like her character is also an NBSB (no boyfriend since birth). The movie will make you feel as if the role was specifically written for her,” aniya pa.

Sabi nga ni Mr. Ting Nebrida, TBA president at executive producer, ”TBA Studios is confident that ‘Write About Love’ is going to be a success because aside from it being the only romantic, feel-good entry at the 45th MMFF, the film was made in honor of the 100 Years of Philippines Cinema.”

Nagpasalamat din ang bossing ng TBA sa bumubuo ng MMFF, “We are thankful to the MMFF Selection Committee. This is also our third time at the MMFF after ‘Bonifacio: Ang Unang Pangulo’ (2014), ‘Sunday Beauty Queen’ (2016), at ngayon itong ‘Write About Love.’”

“Being selected in this year’s 2019 MMFF validates my more than 14 years in the film industry. I started as a Production Assistant and over the years I helmed my craft as a First Assistant Director. I am truly humbled and grateful to all those who supported my filmmaking journey,” lahad pa ni direk Cris.

In fairness, we also believe na may karapatang makapasok ang “WAL” sa MMFF 2019 dahil naniniwala kami na lahat ng proyekto ng TBA ay dekalidad.
